About ProVéloPassion

I’m another example of living the dream: in 2011 I left a corporate job to become a full-time freelance writer. While I specialize in cycling, my writing encompasses endurance athletes in general as well as event and brand promotion, other topics. I also count many years of experience in proposal writing and internal communications.

Stories by my hand have appeared with USA Cycling, 5280 and Boulder Magazines, The Salt Lake Tribune, PikesPeak Sports, and SBS Cycling Central. You’ll find more links to my work on this writing samples page. Professional sports teams have hired me for features about their athletes, press releases, social media content, and race reporting. I’ve attended numerous international and domestic cycling races and provided live race coverage from road, mountain, and cyclocross events via Twitter. I can complement stories with high quality images.

My previous written and editorial work includes extensive newsletter/newspaper, non-fiction journal and business proposal content in the areas of health care, religion, and financial services. I speak French on an advanced level.

In addition to accepting freelance assignments, I cover competitive cycling here at ProVéloPassion, where I focus on inspiring performances and interviews, Colorado-based riders, and analysis and reporting on the USA Pro Cycling Challenge (UPCC) as well as other world-class and local races. Some stories fit the definition of “traditional;” others fall into the category of “quirky.” Photos are my own unless otherwise credited.

Here at ProVéloPassion I aim to inspire and contribute insight into pro-cycling from the dual-lens of a passionate follower of the sport and a keen observer of human nature. I look forward to your comments and hope you enjoy the ride.

Thank you for reading. Please contact me here if you would like to discuss a freelance assignment.
